If you go to Cuba you will need a visa. How much does the visa to Cuba cost and where to buy it? Watch!
To enter Cuba, you need a visa, or rather a tourist card. It can be purchased at the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in each country of Europe or any other place for an estimated amount of 22 euros cash. Buying a visa at the embassy involves two visits: send the documents and the visa itself so it can be a bit complicated for people who don’t live in the capital.
The necessary documents for the visa are a photocopy of the passport that must be left and the original with you, the aeroplane ticket and the address of the first staying in Cuba.
We will also obtain a visa on hand at tourism agencies, for approximately 23.25 Euros at any agency close to your home or in your city. In these agencies, also we immediately buy the necessary insurance to go out, and it is worth remembering that not all insurance companies are respected in Cuba. Certainly, the insurance of the American agencies doesn’t work.
The visa can also be purchased online through us; the cost is 27.90 with the sending. We send the tourist card to the indicated address and you do not have to worry about visiting the embassy.
We must also remember that on the departure day from the Republic of Cuba, the passport must have a minimum of validity of 6 months.
When entering Cuba, no one controls the amount of money we have, although the amount declared should not exceed 10,000 euros per person. The minimum quantity is not verified.
NOTE: The first part of the visa is received at the airport at the entrance and the second part at the exit. It may also happen that the two parties are with us while leaving, but you must also have them with you. There is no charge to leave the Republic of Cuba when leaving.
Very important, and this must be taken into account before each flight, because some of the airlines (for example, Air Canada), deliver the Tourist Card for the price of the ticket, and they give them on the plane. Although airport employees are perfectly aware of this, we will NOT leave Europe without showing a visa at the airport. Therefore, a visa, even if we receive another one from the airline, must have one before departure. It is also verified if the visa has the stamp of the subject that sold it to us and without a stamp (on the back part) we can’t fly outside of Europe either
